OUR WINNING WILDCAT NATION! |
GIRLS SWIMMING IS HEADED TO STATE! - 200 Medley Relay - Koert Bouma, Jason Wu, Marshall Loomis, Quinn Shilliday (Alternates - Austin Sherrard, Isaac Huynh, Noah Loomis)
- 100 Butterfly - Quinn Shilliday
- 100 Breaststroke - Jason Wu
State Qualifier Results5th Place Men’s Finish (which is an amazing feat, we had a tiny men’s team compared to other schools. Because our district (Lewisville ISD schools, Coppell, and Plano ISD) is so competitive, we had 1/3 to 1/2 of the regional qualifiers that some of the schools from other districts in our Region (Prosper, Allen, JJP, Jesuit & Arlington Martin can really get through districts much easier than we can and that depth on roster comes in handy). There are just over 30 Teams in our Region. But we may be small but we are mighty! Men’s 200 Medley 2nd place (only .9 away from a school record that has been there since 2010). Marshall Loomis’ 50 fly leg on the relay was the 7th fastest out of all of the 6A Regional swims in Texas yesterday. Fun fact: Plano was the State Champions in the Medley for 3 years in a row in 1989, 1990, and 1991. Men’s 100 Fly Quinn Shilliday 2nd Place, Quinn is the first Plano flyer to go to state since 2015. Men’s 100 Breaststroke Jason Wu 3rd Place, was able to get the call-up so he will swim in state. Our last great breaststroker was Alex Sanchez in 2019, who was in the last Olympic Trials and swam for Texas A&M. Before him was Ivan Barnes, who was the state Champion in 2004. |
GIRLS SOCCER- HANNAH DELISLE, FRESHMAN Hannah is a fearless competitor and willing to play anywhere we need her. She does whatever it takes for her team to be successful and leaves it all on the field every single game! -Coach Smith BOYS BASKETBALL, AKANNA NGENE, SENIOR AK is the anchor of our defense and has been averaging 4 blocks a game. He came up big on Friday night at McKinney Boyd when he got the offensive rebound and put back with .8 seconds left to secure the victory 58-56! He has become a great leader this year and puts in extra effort and time all the time. -Coach Sklar WRESTLING, ALEX CHEN, JUNIOR In Alex's last four tournaments he has qualified as a finalist, including Districts. During the district tournament, his only lost was against last year's State Champion as he commandeered a second place finish. His exemplary work ethic and leadership skills elevate all of his teammates on the mat. -Coach David |
FOOTBALL ASSISTANT COACH, COACH FISHER - PSHS He is such a great asset to the Football program and to our school as the .8 Coach Fisher does an excellent job communicating with his athletes and fellow coaches. He is kind, approachable, and consistently shows that he genuinely cares about the well-being and success of his athletes, both on and off the field. GIRLS BASKETBALL/GIRLS TRACK & FIELD, COACH WARNER - VINES HS She is so invested in her basketball players and cares so much for their success. BOYS ATHLETICS, COACH MARTINEZ- SCHIM MS Coach Martinez does an outstanding job with his 8th graders and is a huge advocate for them. He coaches them to play an exciting brand of basketball and teaches them to be respectful young men. I attended one of their games and the players came up and introduced themselves to me before I could introduce myself. Keep up the great work Coach Martinez! |

There are multiple options available to parents such as: parent driven ride, ride sharing, walking, and biking. If you have any questions regarding transportation, I want to encourage you to visit the District Transportation Website and FAQ’s. On this website, you will find resources to help you with questions. Additionally, you may use the Let’s Talk Link to ask questions or seek clarification directly to transportation representatives. Students provided transportation through Special Education Services will continue to receive transportation. These services are determined through the campus ARD Committee. Please reach out to your campus representative for any questions. |

| NOTES ABOUT USER ACCOUNTS/USER PROFILES ON OUR PTSA MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT WEBSITE Please make sure to create and use one, same user account for all functions and all orders and sign up forms on all school's PTA/PTSA websites. Your same user account/same log in credentials are functional on all Membership Toolkit (MTK) Websites. Your history of purchases and forms will then be contained and maintained on one user account. This is also critical for our website functions with which we manage your user account from the back end of our website and from which we are able to communicate with you. Our forms are set up to trigger specific data fields that fill in within your user account. So we know if you are a member, if you have a parking spot, if your parking design is approved, etc. When multiple user accounts are created and used, these data fields do not trigger correctly and it takes many more steps and time to manually enter these data fields and coordinate our website to be able to communicate with you. We understand it is compelling to have students create a new account to complete functions themselves, like uploading parking designs, which is great! If you want your student to complete a form or a process on our website, the best way though, is to give your student "access" to your original user account upon which their parking spot was purchased. Then all connections between your purchased parking spot, the student who will be parking in that spot and their design approval information are maintained in the same user account. Access to that original user account can be given to your students (or to other email addresses) to be able to submit forms by: - Clicking on your name at the top black area of our website where it lists "logged in as X"
- Find the little light blue tabs under our drop down menus.
- Click on the "Access" little blue tab.
- Follow the "Link Other E-mails to This Account" instructions to give your student access to your user account. Here is a direct link to that tab: https://planoptsa.membershiptoolkit.com/user_login
You may also use the same instructions in the little blue "Access" tab to "change your email address for logging in" to your user account (rather than creating a different, new user account for that process). Also, after clicking your name, make sure to check out all of the other 13 little light blue tabs: forms, orders, membership, password, profile, account credit, payment methods, etc. These tabs allow you access to detailed info about your user profile and the ability to manage many aspects of your user profile. As well, you can "edit and update" information on "forms" that you have filled out and submitted, rather than submitting an entirely new form. There are lots of important functions in those tabs all at your fingertips. Thank you all! We want to make sure our users' information is as accurate as possible, so we can communicate with you all and provide you all with our best service. HELP/TECH SUPPORT: Please contact our PSHS PTSA VP of Communications and Webmaster, Chelsey Ray at: communications@planoseniorptsa.org or 972-658-6877. Thank you Wildcats! |
