All Juniors will be taking the REAL SAT at school on Wednesday, March 4. Give your student an advantage, and sign them up to take a $15 practice SAT or ACT test on Saturday, 2/15. This is a GREAT way to be prepared.

 

Donations/Volunteers Needed - 2/14/20

 
The Plano Senior PTSA is planning a day of treats to show our love for the wonderful teachers and staff of Plano Senior.  We will be decorating both lounges and filling them with all kinds of sweets and treats!

Please join us in showing our appreciation by volunteering your time and/or donating items for our Friendship day party on Friday February 14. 

All items may be dropped off in disposable containers labeled “Plano PTSA - Friendship Day” by Thursday the 13th at 3pm.  Thank you!

 

Congratulations to our Latest $500 Winners!

Three more $500 scholarships were drawn at the PTSA General Meeting on January 23rd. Congratulations to Alyssa Schumacher, David Leach, and Gregory Smith.

In order for you to be qualified for this scholarship, you must be a PTSA member your Junior and Senior year.

Hedgcoxe Elementary Senior Reunion and PTA Scholarship

April 28th @5:00 p.m. 

Enjoy snacks, door prizes, school tours, group photos & be there as the recipient of the Hedgcoxe Scholarship is announced. Apply for the Hedgcoxe Scholarship by filling out the Google form. Wear a t-shirt of your college or career choice & be ready for fun! Parents & guardians are welcome. Please email Principal Kristi Graham at kristi.graham@pisd.edu with any additional questions.

The Alex Trejo Scholarship is $650 in gift aid available to any PISD graduating senior who attended Carpenter Middle School for at least two years and plans to attend a 2- or 4-year accredited college, vocational, or technical school with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester or enlist in the military by the fall semester immediately following their high school graduation, and has a minimum GPA of 25.

Applications are due by April 26; winner will be notified by May 6.
